The mission of the Especially for You® Race Against Breast Cancer is to raise funds for those unable to afford breast cancer screenings and other support services, and to educate individuals on the importance of early detection.
Breast cancer is most treatable and curable when detected in its earliest stages. Even so, breast cancer claims an estimated 40,170 lives each year. This number can be reduced when we practice early detection through breast self-examination, clinical breast exam and mammography.
To date, the Especially for You® Race Against Breast Cancer has raised more than $1.2 million in funds and has helped over 4,300 individuals.
